Partner, and former Municipal Prosecutor, Carmine R. Villani, Esq., is an experienced NJ criminal defense lawyer ready to help you with your charges in Asbury Park Municipal Court or New Jersey Superior Court. Practicing since 1992, Mr. Villani has years of criminal prosecution and defense experience. On the prosecution side, Mr. Villani served as Municipal Prosecutor for the Township of Colts Neck in 1996 and the Township of Keansburg in 1999. On the criminal defense side, Mr. Villani currently serves as a Public Defender for Colts Neck and Conflict Public Defender for the Borough of Bay Head. In the past, Mr. Villani served as the Public Defender for the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach and the Township of Keansburg as well as a Conflict Public Defender for Brick Township and Barnaget. In addition to courtroom experience in DUI, DWI, and Refusal charges, Mr. Villani is also Alcotest® trained. Mr. Villani has been trained by Draeger Safety Diagnostics, Inc. to operate the Alcotest® 7110 MKIII-C, which is currently the machine used by all New Jersey law enforcement agencies in determining the blood-alcohol levels of motorists. Mr. Villani is one of a small number of New Jersey attorneys trained by Draeger on the analytical system, components, and peripherals as well as how to perform a New Jersey specific breath test sequence. Mr. Villani is also a lifelong resident of Ocean County.
Associate, Timothy L. Horn, Esq., has been an Ocean County resident for over 35 years and is currently a resident of Point Pleasant Borough. Mr. Horn concentrates on criminal defense, DUI/DWI, motor vehicle violations, and personal injury litigation. Prior to joining Villani & DeLuca in 2002, Mr. Horn served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Edward J. Turnbach J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean County, Criminal Division.
