Outside of the courtroom, Mr. Villani holds the very important distinction of being one of only approximately 50 New Jersey attorneys and experts that was trained by Draeger Safety Diagnostics to operate the Alcotest® 7110 MKIII-C breath testing device. The Draeger Alcotest® represents the latest cutting edge technology in determining the Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of a suspected intoxicated motorist. This distinction is extremely important because the proper functioning of the device must be proven by the State in order to secure a conviction for DWI or DUI. In addition to being trained on the proper functioning of the device, Mr. Villani was also trained to administer a New Jersey specific breath test. Currently, the Draeger Alcotest® is the only breath testing device approved for use by the State of New Jersey.

Lavallette, New Jersey is a small beachfront community located on the Barnegat peninsula situated just north of Ortley Beach and south of Dover and Brick Township beaches. Route 35 runs directly through town and is highly traveled with people heading to either Seaside Heights or Point Pleasant for a day of fun or nighttime of bar hopping. With just under a square mile of land and a little over 1,800 year round residents, Lavallette is small in size but has a lot to offer. Located on Route 35, the famous Crabs Claw Inn provides excellent seafood and other fare, while B&B and Wavejammer cater to your shopping needs. Along the bay side of the borough are well maintained parks, tennis courts, basketball courts, and playgrounds.  Since Lavallette is nestled between Seaside Heights and Point Pleasant, daytime and nighttime traffic can be burdensome. It is no surprise that Lavallette saw over 60 DWI, DUI, and refusal charges written in 2010.
